Our Services

Individual Counseling
Individual Therapy enables you to focus in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. You will actively participate in setting your desired therapeutic goals and monitor your progress from beginning to end of services. As your therapist, I will provide you with resources to increase self-reliance, manage stress, and find harmony and balance in your life. The focus in this area runs the gamut from dealing with depression; anxiety; overcoming trauma; improving stress management skills; and working on adjustment disorders to achieve harmony and balance in your life.

Children/Adolescent
All children “misbehave” or “act out” at some point or another. While some of these behaviors are transitory, others may be more pervasive and challenging. As a parent, we all eagerly want to know “why is my child behaving this way”, so that we can help our child or “fix the problem”. However, there are times when trying to figure out the “why” is impeded by your child’s lack of communication, your stress or frustration with the problem, or a lack of resources available to address the concern. During these times, you may need some guidance.
For the past ten years I have specialized in working with children and families. Throughout this time, I became aware of my niche in building rapport with children and teens, and how the relationship I was able to develop with them, was transformative. Through non-judgement, empowerment, and “tough love”, I have been able to encourage my young client’s to be accountable, self-reliant, compassionate, and strive to reach their highest potential. After the successful completion of therapy, parents will also feel more confident in their parenting strategies, be able to set effective boundaries, all while maintaining honest and genuine dialogue with their children.

Couples Therapy
Are you tired of fighting, walking on egg shells, or just feel alone in your relationship? Do you feel unheard, misunderstood, or even abandoned? Does it almost feel better to be away from your partner because of the tension between the two of you? Finally, are you facing a marital crisis in which separation or divorce is a looming threat?
You still have time to save your relationship!
After the honeymoon phase is over and the reality of finances, parenting, demanding work schedules, and other life matters set in, these stressors may lead to a feeling of disconnect in couples. Over time, this distancing may cause resentment which can be manifested through arguments over “petty things”, none of which are related to the root of the problem. At some point, both of you stopped focusing on what you loved about each other and you lost the motivation to do the little things to make your partner feel loved. Instead, you may now find yourself focusing on the negatives which may lead you, or your partner, to feel “done” with the relationship.
Relationships take commitment and work! The key components to any healthy relationship are effective COMMUNICATION and RESPECT. One of the benefits of Couples therapy is that it can create a neutral space for you and your partner to engage in healthy dialogue to explore your needs and that of your partner, and rediscover a common ground. Together, we will work on letting go of the hurtful past, and build a strong foundation for your relationship to thrive through a new beginning
